Loc Binh Town: Over 200 children vaccinated against measles - Lang Son Newspaper

- Implementing Plan No. 142/KH-UBND dated March 25, 2025 of the People's Committee of Loc Binh district on implementing the measles vaccination campaign in 2025 in Loc Binh town, on March 27-28, Loc Binh town Health Station implemented the measles vaccination campaign in 2025.  

Screening for children before measles vaccination

During this period, Loc Binh Town Health Station organized vaccinations for over 200 children, including children from 6 months to under 9 months old, including transient children currently in the locality. Each child will receive 1 dose of measles vaccine; children from 1-5 years old who have not been fully vaccinated with measles-containing vaccines under the Expanded Immunization Plan in 2025 and children from 6-10 years old, including transient children currently in the locality, who are determined to have not been vaccinated or have not been fully vaccinated with measles-containing vaccines, each child will receive 1 dose of measles-containing vaccine.

The campaign's target is that 95% of children who have not been vaccinated or have not been fully vaccinated with measles-containing vaccine as prescribed will be vaccinated with 1 dose of measles-containing vaccine. Vaccination must ensure safety, effectiveness and quality of vaccination according to the provisions of Decree No. 104/2016/ND-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government regulating vaccination activities and Decree No. 155/2018/ND-CP dated November 12, 2018 on amending and supplementing a number of regulations related to investment and business conditions under the state management of the Ministry of Health and the regulations of the Ministry of Health on vaccination.

It is known that Loc Binh Town Health Station continues to carry out vaccinations and provide enough doses for children of the campaign age; promote communication so that parents can take their children to get fully vaccinated; thereby increasing measles immunity coverage in the community.
