- On the afternoon of April 1, Lang Son Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on merging Lang Son Radio and Television Station into Lang Son Newspaper to form Lang Son Radio and Television Station; and to announce the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work.
Attending the conference were comrades: Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments, agencies of the province.
At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 2193 dated March 27, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee on merging Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station into Lang Son Newspaper to form Lang Son Radio and Television Station under the Provincial Party Committee from April 1, 2025.
Announcing the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the transfer and appointment of comrade Nguyen Dong Bac, Director of Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station from April 1, 2025, with a term of appointment of 5 years.
Announcement of the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the transfer and appointment of the positions of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station for comrades: Hoang Xuan Thai (former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper); Tran Trinh Dieu Hang (former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper); Vu Thanh Son (former Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station); Do Son Lam (former Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station); Hoang Thi Tuoi (former Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station). The decisions take effect from April 1, 2025, with a term of appointment of 5 years.
During the program, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on early retirement according to Decree 178 dated December 31, 2024 of the Government on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system for comrades: Hoang Dinh Hom, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper; Ly Viet Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. The decisions take effect from April 1, 2025.
Speaking at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station and the newly appointed comrades.
He emphasized: The merger of Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station into Lang Son Newspaper aims to effectively implement the Party's policy of continuing to innovate and streamline the political system's apparatus to make it more compact and operate effectively and efficiently.
Regarding the upcoming tasks, he requested the collective of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station to continue promoting the glorious tradition of solidarity and unity, quickly stabilize the organization, and perform well the assigned functions and tasks.
He emphasized: The leaders of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station continue to pay attention to building a team of reporters and technicians with strong political will and good professional qualifications. Each officer, reporter and employee needs to continue to be a pioneer in applying science and technology, innovation, creativity, and digital transformation, contributing to improving the quality of press products in terms of form and content, so that each daily newspaper issue, each radio and television program is an indispensable spiritual food for cadres, party members and people in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony to receive the new assignment, Comrade Nguyen Dong Bac, Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, fully accepted the direction of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. He thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for their trust and assignment of the new assignment and promised to promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, innovation, creativity, and build an effective and professional working environment, leading Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station to further develop, meeting the requirements of political tasks in the coming time.
According to the Project to merge Lang Son Radio and Television Station into Lang Son Newspaper to form Lang Son Radio and Television Station, the organizational structure of the new agency has a leadership board (including the Editor-in-Chief and 5 Deputy Editors-in-Chief) and 8 specialized departments including: Organization - Administration Department, Secretary - Editorial Department, Printed Newspaper Department, Electronic Newspaper - Digital Content Department, Television Department, Radio Department, Service - Advertising Department and Technical - Technology Department. After the merger, reduce 1 press agency; reduce 5 affiliated departments (38.5% of department-level focal points); reduce 1 agency head; reduce 5 department-level leaders; reduce 27 officials, 18.8% (roadmap: reduce 25 people by April 1, 2025, reduce 2 people by August 1, 2025). |
