Candidates whose vehicles broke down were helped by the police to get to the exam site on time.

On the afternoon of June 28, Captain Nguyen Canh Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Quy Chau District Police (Nghe An), said that the unit's rapid response team had just provided timely support to a candidate whose vehicle had broken down to get to the exam room.

Near the time of the foreign language exam - the last subject in the 2024 high school graduation exam, the staff on duty at the Quy Chau High School exam site discovered that candidate Vi Bao L. (born in 2006, residing in Chau Hanh commune, Quy Chau) was not present. This information was forwarded to the external exam support force.

The team contacted L.'s parents by phone and learned that L.'s car was broken. He tried to fix it but couldn't, so his mother planned to borrow the car to take him to the exam site. Immediately, the team sent staff to L.'s house to support him.

"Candidate L's house is about 2km from the exam site, but the road is bad and difficult to travel," Captain Thanh informed.

Thanks to the support of the police, candidate Vi Bao L. arrived at the exam site on time.

The rapid response team of the Youth Union of Quy Chau District Police operates 24/7 during the 2024 high school graduation exam. During the exam sessions, the team coordinates with volunteer forces to promptly support candidates, especially candidates in difficult circumstances or facing unavoidable incidents.

With the core force being youth union members, the group promotes propaganda to parents about fire prevention and fighting, anti-fraud in cyberspace and helps people better understand the 10 new points of the Law on Identity Cards that took effect from July 1.
