(HNMO) - In response to concerns from many candidates about the university admission process in 2023, the Ministry of Education and Training said that for a training major (or a training program) according to a method and subject combination, all candidates are considered equally based on their scores, regardless of the priority order of their registration wishes.
In case many candidates have the same score at the end of the list, the training institution can use the secondary criterion of preference order to select candidates with higher preference order.
In the 2023 university entrance exam, training institutions will autonomously organize admission exams according to their own admission methods and criteria, or voluntarily coordinate in groups to organize admission exams according to common admission methods and criteria. The Ministry of Education and Training guides the admission schedule and supports the processing of applications on the system. After each admission cycle, training institutions upload to the system a list of candidates expected to be eligible for admission to majors and training programs (according to admission methods). The application processing system will automatically remove from the list the low-level applications of candidates eligible for multiple applications, and return the list of candidates expected to be admitted according to the highest application.
Regarding the admission principles, the Ministry of Education and Training clearly stipulates that the admission score is determined so that the number of students recruited for each major and training program is consistent with the announced quota, but not lower than the input threshold.
This year, candidates can register their university admission wishes from July 10 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30. During this period, candidates can register, adjust and add their admission wishes an unlimited number of times.
