On the afternoon of December 14, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, said that Jeju Air will officially hold the opening ceremony of the flight route from Seoul (capital of South Korea) to Lien Khuong airport in the early morning of December 21.
Currently there are about 30 - 35 flights per week from Korea to Lien Khuong.
According to Mr. Phuc, the first flight from Seoul to Da Lat of Jeju Air (Korea) is expected to land at Lien Khuong airport at 1:30 a.m. on December 21. Lam Dong province directed the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to coordinate with a number of departments, branches and Lien Khuong airport to prepare the best conditions to welcome the first group of tourists on Jeju Air flight landing at Lien Khuong airport.
Lien Khuong Airport informed that in recent months, Lien Khuong Airport has welcomed 30-35 flights from Korea each week. Specifically, Vietjet flies from Incheon and Pusan to Lien Khuong, while Pacific Airlines flies from Muan to Lien Khuong and vice versa (in the form of charter flights). Each flight carries 150-160 Korean tourists to Da Lat. Now, Jeju Air officially opens the Seoul - Da Lat route, which will bring many benefits to both sides.
Currently, Korean tourists account for more than 50% of international visitors to Lam Dong.
