"The Music of ABBA" will be performed in Da Nang and Hoi An

On September 21, Mr. Nguyen Long An - Member of the Royal Society of Music - ABRSM, Director of Community Outreach Programs, Saigon Symphony Orchestra (SPO) said that on October 8 and 9, the Swedish band "Arrival" - the world's most successful band performing ABBA music, will perform in Da Nang and Hoi An in the tour "The Music of ABBA".

The "The Music of ABBA" tour is part of the celebration of the 55th anniversary of Vietnam - Sweden diplomatic relations.

The first show on October 8 will take place on the live stage of Hoi An Memories Island with the theme "Hoi An Memories & ABBA music show - The meeting place of heritage land". This is the first time in Hoi An that an international music event has been performed.

Next, on October 9, the international music festival will take place at the Ariyana Danang International Convention Palace, expected to attract more than 2,000 spectators.

Swedish band “Arrival” - the world's most successful ABBA band, will perform in Da Nang and Hoi An on the tour “The Music of ABBA”.

According to Mr. Nguyen Long An, the international music event will be performed on a grand stage, with the legendary music of ABBA being performed by Arrival from Sweden and the SPO (Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra).

Audiences will be able to see again famous hits such as "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," "SOS,"... and especially "Just A Notion" - a song personally composed by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA and presented to Arrival From Sweden, as a recognition for the group performing ABBA music "best of all time".

In the 70s of the last century, the band ABBA quickly became a global music phenomenon with vibrant dances, meaningful lyrics and unique fashion style.

In Vietnam, ABBA created an unprecedented fever. ABBA's music created waves of youth trends, converging many advantages that few bands could replicate, this quartet made Sweden famous.

Over the years, the members of ABBA are no longer healthy enough to perform on stage, however, many bands and singers have covered ABBA's songs, and to this day, their musical works are still enthusiastically received by music lovers of all ages.
