Practical event of Ho Chi Minh City children towards the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
With the theme “The Country is Full of Joy”, the drum and trumpet art performance is an opportunity for children across the country to express their deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country; to better understand the heroic historical journey of the nation, especially the important event of April 30, 1975, the moment when the country was completely liberated and unified. Through this, the generation of Vietnamese children will always nurture a sense of responsibility towards their homeland and country and continue the heroic tradition of the nation.
Each performance was elaborately staged, blending with immortal epics such as Liberation of the South, Marching to Saigon, Victory Day, Reunion Song and As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day…; each bustling drum beat, each resounding trumpet sound sounded like notes in a sacred symphony of patriotism. It was the voice of faith, aspiration, a call for solidarity and an inextinguishable flame in the hearts of the young buds of the Fatherland.

The program is directly connected to 62 provinces and cities and online to more than 150 Palaces, Children's Houses, and Youth Activity Centers across the country with the participation of more than 10,000 children participating in the Ceremonial Teams of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers.
Within the framework of the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Team Trumpet Festival for the 2024-2025 school year with the theme "I am a soldier of the Liberation Army of Uncle Ho's city" took place with the participation of 38 ceremonial teams representing districts, towns and Thu Duc city.
Each team presented a drum and trumpet art program combined with creative formation movements, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and self-management. The teams were divided into two groups: Primary and Secondary, contributing to creating a rich and diverse playground, suitable for each age group of team members.

The festival is not only an opportunity for students to demonstrate their talents and personal qualities, but also a playground for exchange and learning, spreading patriotism and deep gratitude to the generation of fathers and brothers who fought for national independence.
This is also an opportunity to affirm the role of Team activities in educating traditions, skills, team spirit and will to strive of children in Ho Chi Minh City.
