In the vibrant music festival Prom night 2025 held recently at Dong Thanh High School, Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province, there was an extremely special performance for both the singer and the audience. As soon as this "homegrown singer" appeared on stage, the whole school cheered with excitement. After the opening music, the singing made the whole hall explode.

That was the performance of Mr. Vu Tien Dung, Vice Principal of Dong Thanh High School. Contributing to the students' music festival, Mr. Dung sang the song "Rebirth", a song that has been very "hot" recently.

After the music night, the clip of the vice principal singing was shared and received thousands of likes and comments. Everyone praised Mr. Dung for his good singing and wished he could go back in time to continue being a student at Dong Thanh High School: "That is the simplicity of a teacher who is not specialized in music, but he showed a lot of affection, closeness, and attachment to the students. The students are familiar with his Physics lectures, but there are few opportunities to hear him sing and perform."

In addition, many former students of the school also shared their memories with the teacher: "More than 30 years ago, I studied with him. At that time, he had just graduated but was assigned the responsibility of tutoring several "seeds" of Physics. He was extremely good and very responsible, dedicated. In the time when reference books were as rare as gold, he was truly a living library. I wish him good health and that generations of Physics seeds would develop more brilliantly than us in the past."

Sharing with Dan Viet newspaper reporter, teacher Vu Tien Dung was also surprised to receive many compliments.

"I love singing and sing often. I can listen to songs I like all day long. When I became a manager, I didn't participate in many performances, but when there were programs, I still tried to contribute performances to encourage the students," Mr. Dung shared.

With the recent music night at school, Mr. Dung said he had to listen to the song "Rebirth" many times to memorize the lyrics and melody.

It is known that Mr. Dung has been a teacher for over 30 years and has been the manager of Dong Thanh High School for 6 years. His point of view is that everything is for the students.

"Whether I am a teacher or a manager, I always guide students towards good things. I always look at the positive side of students to encourage and motivate them to strive. For students with strong personalities, I have to choose and find their strengths to encourage and guide them," said Mr. Dung.
