The Vietnam Commodity Exchange (MXV) has announced changes in trading hours of Standard Futures Contracts and Commodity Options Contracts at MXV.
On October 21, 2024, according to Decision No. 754/QD/TGĐ-MXV, Vietnam Commodity Exchange (MXV) announced a change in trading time of Standard Futures Contracts and Commodity Options Contracts at MXV.
This Decision will take effect from October 28, 2024 and replace Decision No. 193/QD/TGĐ-MXV issued on March 4, 2024.
According to the announcement, from October 28, 2024 to November 1, 2024, the items with transaction times will change as follows:
Metal commodities linked to the London Metal Exchange (LME) will change trading hours from 7:00-1:00 (next day) to 8:00-2:00 (next day).
Arabica coffee (commodity code: KCE), Arabica coffee call options (commodity code: C.KCE), Arabica coffee put options (commodity code: P.KCE) linked to the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE US) will change trading hours from 15:15-0:30 (next day) to 16:15-0:30 (next day).

Cocoa (commodity code: CCE) linked to ICE US will change trading hours from 15:45-0:30 (next day) to 16:45-0:30 (next day).
Sugar 11 (commodity code: SBE), Sugar 11 Call Options (commodity code: C.SBE), Sugar 11 Put Options (commodity code: P.SBE) linked to ICE US will change trading hours from 14:30-0:00 (next day) to 15:30-0:00 (next day).
Robusta coffee (commodity code: KCE) linked to the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE US) will change trading hours from 15:00-23:30 to 16:00-00:30 (next day).
White sugar (commodity code: LRC) linked to EU ICE will change trading hours from 14:45-0:00 (next day) to 15:45-0:00 (next day).
From November 4, 2024, the following items will have trading hours changed:
Agricultural commodities linked to the CBOT Exchange, part of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group), will change trading hours for session 1 from 7:00-19:45 to 8:00-20:45 and session 2 from 20:30-1:20 to 21:30-2:20 (next day).
Metals and energy commodities linked to the COMEX and NYMEX exchanges, part of CME Group, will change trading hours from 5:00-4:00 (next day) to 6:00-5:00 (next day).
Metal commodities linked to the London Metal Exchange (LME) will change trading hours from 7:00-1:00 (next day) to 8:00-2:00 (next day).
The Board of Directors, MXV's affiliated business units; Business Members, and Brokerage Members are responsible for implementing this decision.
