Buon Ma Thuot City youth enthusiastically join the army

On the morning of February 13, at 10/3 Square, the Military Service Council of Buon Ma Thuot City solemnly held the 2025 Military Service Handover Ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Chien Hoa; representatives of relevant departments and agencies, Buon Ma Thuot City and many relatives of the new recruits.

In 2025, Buon Ma Thuot City will have 359 outstanding young people (357 men, 2 women) leaving to defend the Fatherland, including 302 citizens performing military service and 57 citizens performing People's Public Security service. The quality of new recruits this year continues to improve, including 6 new recruits who are party members; 36 new recruits with intermediate, college, and university degrees; 135 new recruits who voluntarily apply to join the army; 353 new recruits who are union members; 100% of new recruits meet health standards, political qualities, etc.

In this year's military service, Dak Lak province has 3 female citizens enlisting, of which Buon Ma Thuot City has 2 female citizens: Nguyen Dieu Linh (born in 1999, Thanh Cong Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City), university degree, enlisted in Infantry Regiment 584 (Provincial Military Command); Le Thi Hong Anh (born in 2000, Cu Ebur Commune, Buon Ma Thuot City), university degree, enlisted in Brigade 74 (General Department 2). Both wrote volunteer applications, fully met the criteria for selecting female citizens to enlist and were selected according to the decision of the Minister of National Defense.

New recruits from Buon Ma Thuot City enlisted in the following units: Regiment 66 (Division 10, Corps 34); Information Regiment 29 (Corps 34); Regiment 584 (Provincial Military Command); Training and Mobility Battalion (Provincial Border Guard Command); Special Forces Brigade 198 (Special Forces Command) and Provincial Police.

Speaking at the military enlistment ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee, Chairman of the Military Service Council of Buon Ma Thuot City Vu Van Hung acknowledged and commended the young men for strictly following the call-up order, ensuring the required number and time.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes that the young men joining the army in 2025 will promote the tradition of their heroic homeland in the previous resistance war, as well as in the current economic and social development; strive in all aspects, study hard, train, strictly abide by military discipline, and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

After the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, along with leaders of Buon Ma Thuot City and mass organizations presented gifts, encouraged the spirit and saw off the young men to their units.

Along with Buon Ma Thuot City, the 2025 military enlistment ceremony of Dak Lak province was also solemnly and thoughtfully held in localities in the province. It is known that in the 2025 military recruitment, Dak Lak province has more than 3,000 outstanding young men joining the army, performing military service and participating in the People's Public Security service.
