Citizen Trieu Minh Ty presents petition

According to the application, Mr. Trieu Minh Ty enlisted on March 18, 1979 and was stationed at the Military Command of Bac Thai province. In 1982, he was discharged from the army and was recommended to transfer to the Bac Thai Province Beekeeping Farm. In 1992, he was transferred to work at the Bac Thai Seed Company (later merged into the Thai Nguyen Agricultural, Forestry and Irrigation Supplies Company). In 2001, he submitted a resignation letter to receive a one-time social insurance benefit to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Insurance and the Director of the Thai Nguyen Agricultural, Forestry and Irrigation Supplies Company. However, because the documents he provided to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Insurance agency were missing some documents, there was not enough basis to calculate the working time. The Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Insurance agency instructed him to go back to his old agency to copy the documents, but after many years, they were not provided because the agency Mr. Trieu Minh Ty previously worked for had dissolved and merged with another agency. On November 3, 2024, Mr. Trieu Minh Ty sent a petition to the Provincial Party Secretary requesting that the competent authorities close his social insurance book and create conditions for him to voluntarily pay social insurance to receive his pension according to regulations.

After receiving the petition of citizen Trieu Minh Ty, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee worked with the Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Insurance Agency to discuss and clarify the reasons why the case had not been resolved. In December 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee worked with the Provincial Archives and History Center to coordinate the exploitation of information and documents related to the Bac Thai Seed Company (the agency where citizen Trieu Minh Ty previously worked) and found documents related to determining the working time of citizen Trieu Minh Ty, which served as an important basis for resolving the case.

After listening to citizens' opinions and consulting the Working Group, the Provincial Party Secretary directed the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to monitor, urge, and closely coordinate with the Provincial Social Insurance to completely resolve the case of citizen Trieu Minh Ty, and report to the Provincial Party Secretary before March 1, 2025.
