Dong Nai youth enthusiastically join the army

At the military handover point in Nhon Trach district, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee attended and encouraged the young men to join the army.

At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong presented a symbolic plaque to support the construction of 4 military-civilian gratitude houses (each worth 80 million VND).

This year, Nhon Trach district was chosen as the location for the military enlistment ceremony.

Previously, on the evening of February 26, the locality organized the program of the 2024 Military Camp; the exchange "Singing forever the military march".

At the military enlistment point in Bien Hoa city, at exactly 7:00 a.m., leaders of Dong Nai province and Bien Hoa city encouraged young people before leaving for military and police units.

This year, Bien Hoa is the locality with the largest number of young people joining the army in Dong Nai province. Before Tet, the Bien Hoa City Party Committee has prioritized military recruitment, focused on directing and thoroughly implementing the entire political system and seriously implementing the preparation and readiness for the military enlistment day. Thereby, the Bien Hoa City Military Service Council has implemented it strictly, openly and transparently.

On the same morning, at the remaining 9 military enlistment points in the province, provincial leaders, along with representatives of local Party committees and authorities, attended to encourage young people to leave for the task of protecting the Fatherland.

According to the Military Service Council of Dong Nai province, in 2024, the locality will select enough citizens to join the army in units of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 7 and the Ministry of Public Security. In terms of quality, party members account for 1.58%; young people with intermediate to university degrees account for 22.13%; civil servants and public employees account for 1.51%.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai Province, Quan Minh Cuong, presented gifts to encourage young people of Long Thanh district to join the army.

To improve the quality of selection and calling citizens to join the army, the Military Service Councils at all levels in Dong Nai province have strictly implemented the registration and management of citizens of military service age; strictly classified and reviewed them right from the grassroots level; organized preliminary selection and medical examinations for military service in accordance with regulations; carefully carried out exchange activities, meetings, encouragement, and organized "Military Day" to celebrate young people leaving for military service.

Acting Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc encouraged young people of Nhon Trach district to join the army.

In addition, the organization of welcoming soldiers who have completed their military service and returned to their localities is solemn, strict and thoughtful; coordinating with vocational colleges and enterprises in the province to effectively carry out counseling and career guidance to support job creation, recruit local workers, stabilize family life, create premise and motivation for military recruitment in the following years.
