The contest was organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, the Thanh Giong Knowledge Portal, the Vietnam Student Support and Development Center in coordination with related units, aiming to honor the beauty of Vietnamese female students, especially the beauty of intelligence, talent, confidence and dynamism.

The contestants arrived at the competition venue very early in their schoolgirl-style ao dai.

From the above objectives, the Organizing Committee of the Contest hopes to contribute to raising awareness of “Virtue-Intelligence-Physical-Beauty” of female students in particular and young people in general; encouraging and motivating students to actively study, practice, participate in social and volunteer activities; foster compassion, tolerance, love for the homeland, help the poor and children in difficult circumstances.

After the southern and central region casting rounds ended, the Contest entered the final stage to finalize the list of 40 excellent candidates to deploy the national semi-final round.

Before entering the question and answer session, the female students need to take turns introducing themselves, their hometowns, and where they are studying in front of the camera.

This is also the contest that witnessed the diversity in the contestants. Many contestants came from remote mountainous areas.

There were contestants who were filming in front of a professional camera for the first time but still showed confidence and dynamism, demonstrating the intellectual beauty of Vietnamese female students.

In this round, the contestants took turns performing in their own costumes, taking anthropometric measurements, and behaving in front of the judges.

The 2024 "Miss Vietnamese Students" contest has the following final awards: Miss, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and a number of secondary awards and voting awards. The total prize value of the contest is up to more than 1 billion VND.

In addition to the title and prize money, the contestants crowned Miss and Runner-up will receive 100% support for university tuition and full scholarships to study abroad for postgraduate studies in the United States, Korea, and Japan.

The Top 10 "Miss Vietnamese Students" in 2024 will participate in international summer camps in the UK or Australia for 15 days.

The female students participate in groups of 2 or 3 to increase the drama of the round.

In particular, the Organizing Committee will award the schools with the crowned Miss and Runner-up a total of 100 computers, 50 motorbikes, 500-1,000 bicycles, specialized bookcases worth 500 million VND, and hundreds of special loans exclusively for students with 0% interest.

The competition took place all day on March 30, recording a large number of contestants competing.

The contest is one of the key activities to concretize the movement "I love my Fatherland" of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the movement "5 Good Students" of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association.
