K50 Waterfall is located in the upper reaches of the Con River, flowing from Gia Lai to Binh Dinh. The waterfall is also called Hang En because behind the stream is a cave where many swallows live. The name K50 refers to the height of the waterfall, which is over 50m.

K50 Waterfall is located deep in Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve, K'Bang District, northern Gia Lai Province, about 150 km from Pleiku City center.

The waterfall cuts across the forest from afar. At this time, after the night rains, in the morning at K50 waterfall, low white clouds often appear, covering the large forest and the majestic K50 waterfall. From above, the scene is truly spectacular.

The best season to explore K50 waterfall is the dry season from March to June every year. At this time, the weather is sunny, there is no rain and the waterfall flows more smoothly.

This is also the season when the lake below the waterfall is shallower, revealing rocks of many shapes. Visitors can choose flat, non-slip places to camp.

From afar, K50 waterfall looks like a silver silk strip hanging from the other side of the mountain, falling gently before the eyes of visitors from afar and blending with the immense green scenery of the Central Highlands mountains and forests.

In the early morning when the sun just rises, an impressive rainbow often appears at the foot of the waterfall. To see this magical scene, people need to camp overnight here. Note, during the rainy season, people absolutely must not sleep at the foot of the waterfall to avoid the phenomenon of sudden flood water rising, which is extremely dangerous.

Located at a height of more than 50m with a width of 20m to 100m depending on the season, the water at K50 waterfall is divided into many layers and flows rapidly, falling down with white foam. Standing at the foot of the waterfall, listening to the sound of flowing water, the chirping of forest birds and enjoying the fresh, quiet atmosphere is truly pleasant.

In the past, it was extremely difficult to get to the waterfall. You had to trek through the forest for about 8 hours through small, steep, winding, and deserted roads. However, there are now many concrete roads that allow motorbikes to get close to the foot of the waterfall. After the concrete road, visitors will walk for about 20 minutes to get there. Because this is a forest road, you need to go with someone experienced and equip yourself with long-sleeved clothes, high socks, and a walking stick to avoid insects and snakes.
