On January 31 (the third day of the Lunar New Year), the international cruise ship Celebrity Solstice carrying nearly 3,000 international tourists docked at Cai Mep - Thi Vai port (Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). This is the first international cruise ship to arrive in the locality in the new year.

Immediately after completing immigration procedures, nearly 3,000 tourists of many nationalities (US, Canada, UK, Australia...) divided into many groups, participating in tours to explore Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang and Ba Ria - Vung Tau during the day.

In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, tourists can visit two routes: in Vung Tau City with famous landmarks such as: Statue of Christ the King, Nirvana Monastery, Thang Tam Temple and Bach Dinh; or countryside tour with destinations such as Ho Phap Pagoda, Cao Dai Temple (Phu My town), Hoa Long market, wine distillery and rice paper making craft in Hoa Long commune (Ba Ria City) and Long Dien ancient house.

That same evening, the Celebrity Solstice will pick up tourists to end the Vietnam tour. Previously, on the first day of Tet, the Celebrity Solstice arrived in Vietnam, taking tourists to stop and explore Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue.

According to a representative of Saigontourist, from October 2024 to now, the Celebrity Solstice ship has visited Vietnam 8 times. It is expected that by the end of March, this ship will return to Vietnam about 5 more times, bringing a large number of international tourists to visit and experience the S-shaped land.
