Beefsteak Beefsteak originated from the sunny and windy land of Phan Thiet, and has gradually become a street food loved by young Vietnamese people. Not only for breakfast, beefsteak can be suitable at any time of the day. Beefsteak is often eaten with bread and raw vegetables to harmonize the flavor. Foreign diners when coming to Vietnam seem to quite like beefsteak because of its delicious taste, somewhat similar to a Western-style breakfast but more attractive because the dish is served on a hot cast iron pan.
