PDSI Group proposes to invest in a 2.6 billion USD project in Binh Thuan

BTO-On the afternoon of March 26 in Phan Thiet City, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Huu Huy chaired a working session with PDSI Group on investing in the Golf Course Service Complex project.

Also attending the meeting were representatives of relevant departments and localities: Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Construction, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial People's Committee Office, People's Committee of Phan Thiet city and Ham Thuan Nam district... On the side of the PDSI Group delegation, there were Mr. Peter Dalkeith Scott - Chairman of PDSI Group, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - Director of PDSI Group Vietnam Joint Stock Company and experts from PDSI Group.

The working session took place on the afternoon of March 26 in Phan Thiet City.

Here, the representative of PDSI Group reported an overview of the unit's investment activities in the world and in Vietnam as well as shared the vision and future development orientation of the Group. Accordingly, PDSI Group was established in 1989 and has implemented projects in more than 15 countries such as China, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, the Middle East, etc.

PDSI Group representative presented the idea of ​​implementing the project in Binh Thuan.

Along with that, PDSI Group also proposed the idea of ​​implementing a service complex project combined with a golf course with a scale of about 425 hectares, the expected location in the southern area of ​​Phan Thiet city extending to the border of Thuan Quy commune - Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province (in which phase 1 has an area of ​​over 180 hectares). It is known that this project when implemented has a total cost of up to 2.6 billion USD, including: Commercial center and apartments, resort hotels, high-class residential areas, parks, international schools, private hospitals, community sports clubs, artificial ski areas, private beaches and wave pools, 2 golf courses...

Through the proposal of PDSI Group, representatives of relevant departments and localities of the province focused on discussing and clarifying some contents about the location and scale of the planned area, investment ideas as well as the feasibility of the project. Or about the issue of overlapping area with other projects, the current status and suitability of the Golf course development planning in Binh Thuan, the experience and financial capacity of the investor...

Representatives of leaders of relevant departments and localities participated in exchanging opinions at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Huu Huy welcomed and highly appreciated the investment proposal of the Golf Course Service Complex project in Binh Thuan as well as the experience of PDSI Group. At the same time, he said that if the project is implemented as proposed, it will bring great benefits to the province in the fields of tourism, services and especially create conditions for bringing international golf tournaments to organize in Vietnam in general, Binh Thuan in particular.

Through this, the provincial People's Committee leaders also requested PDSI Group to complete the project survey dossier according to the instructions of the functional sector, conduct a review of the entire land fund, land location, scale, and overlapping area to clarify the project investment objectives. For the relevant departments and localities of the province, it is necessary to actively support and help PDSI Group complete the required contents, continue to take the next steps to be able to soon implement the project in the province...
