In recent times, the Provincial Employment Service Center has promoted job consulting and referral activities, effectively organized job fairs and sessions, and effectively resolved unemployment insurance policies for workers. This has affirmed the center's position in connecting supply and demand, helping workers find stable jobs, while helping businesses promote their image and attract workers.

In order to effectively carry out the work of consulting, providing market information, and supporting job search for employees, the Provincial Employment Service Center has focused on the work of propagating and providing timely and widespread labor market information through various forms and channels, thereby widely disseminating labor market information of the province, ensuring transparency, widespread labor supply and demand data to villages and communes in the province, supporting employees to access labor market information, labor and employment policies, and grasp job opportunities promptly and stably.
In 2023, the center focused on contacting, working with, exploiting and collecting labor market information of 663 enterprises in the area, of which 68 enterprises collected fees. Processed and provided labor market information through mass media; drafted and published 600 copies of labor market information and labor recruitment; 150 banners; 15,000 leaflets, billboards, and posters of all kinds to hang, paste and send to districts, cities, towns; communes, wards, and towns and directly provided to units, enterprises and workers.
In particular, through the Quang Tri Jobs Facebook page, the Facebook and Zalo pages of the collective and individuals of the center have effectively provided information on labor market information and related information to units, businesses, localities and employees.
As a result, about 17,500 labor market information were collected. Analyzed, processed and provided labor market information and information related to the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws, and relevant ministries and branches on labor, employment and vocational training, and unemployment insurance for 41,600 people and organizations, reaching 104% of the 2023 plan, an increase of 4.52% compared to 2022. In the first 7 months of 2024 alone, the center collected, processed and provided labor market information and related information on labor, vocational training, and unemployment insurance for 24,550 people and organizations, reaching 62.9% of the 2024 plan.
In addition, job counseling is focused on implementation, along with promoting counseling activities at the central office, job exchange floors and representative offices, the unit continues to strengthen and launch peak periods of activities at the grassroots level to provide information on labor market, counseling, job introduction in the province, in the country, labor export (XKLĐ), study abroad, vocational training introduction, Korean language training enrollment...
In the first 7 months of 2024, the center provided counseling on employment, vocational training and policies related to labor and employment for 17,625 people, of which 9,525 people received job counseling; 3,100 people received vocational counseling; and 5,000 people received labor policy counseling.
The center also organizes regular job fairs at the center, coordinates the organization of job fairs, job fairs, communication sessions on labor policies, employment, and career orientation in districts and schools. At the same time, it focuses on job counseling and vocational training counseling for workers receiving unemployment insurance.
In the first 7 months of 2024, the center introduced and provided domestic jobs to 1,616 people, reaching 70% of the 2024 plan. 25 job fairs were organized, including 13 regular sessions at the center, 3 regular sessions at the representative office of Quang Tri town, 3 sessions in Huong Hoa district, 1 thematic session and 5 online job fairs. As a result, 130 units and enterprises registered to participate in direct recruitment at the job fairs. About 1,650 workers participated in the activities at the floor, of which 571 workers found jobs in the province and domestically.
The center has implemented the unemployment insurance policy well. By July 30, 2024, the center had received unemployment insurance applications for 3,012 workers, of which 2,220 applications were received on the National Public Service Portal (accounting for 73.7%). Processing applications, advising the leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to issue decisions for 2,733 workers to receive unemployment benefits with a subsidy amount of about 49.1 billion VND. Organizing job counseling and referrals for 9,788 workers. Consulting and supporting vocational training referrals for 95 workers receiving unemployment benefits. The overall rate of job referrals and vocational training for workers receiving unemployment benefits reached 8.6% of the total number of workers with decisions to receive unemployment benefits.
In the coming time, the Provincial Employment Service Center will continue to improve the effectiveness of consulting work at the center, at the job exchange floor, at representative offices and at the facility. Carry out parallel work between direct and online job exchange floor activities. Promote searching, selecting and coordinating with units, organizations, enterprises in the province, in the country, reputable and quality labor export markets to introduce Quang Tri workers to work.
At the same time, continue to implement the policy of closely following the grassroots to provide consultation, introduce domestic jobs, labor export, study abroad, enroll in foreign language training, introduce vocational training and other related tasks and targets. Implement labor market information, consultation, introduce jobs in the province, domestically, labor export, study abroad and introduce vocational training at the center. Organize regular job fairs well at the center and satellite job fairs in Huong Hoa and Quang Tri town. Organize mobile and specialized job fairs according to the recruitment needs of enterprises.
In the last 5 months of 2024, the center strives to provide consultation on employment, vocational training and Party policies, State policies and laws related to labor, employment, vocational training, and unemployment insurance for about 12,000 people. Organize job supply and referral for 1,000 people. Of which, 60 - 70 workers go abroad to work.
Organize recruitment, introduce vocational training, foreign language skills training for workers participating in overseas labor export and introduce vocational training for 150 students. Continue to organize consultation and implement well the unemployment insurance policy. Consult and introduce workers receiving unemployment benefits to find jobs and learn vocational training, reaching 8% or more. Organize and implement 15 job transaction sessions with good results.
