Strengthening life skills education for students at the beginning of the school year

Due to the prolonged flood situation, it was not until September 26 that 100% of schools in Hanoi organized direct teaching for students. Currently, units are both stabilizing order and implementing teaching and learning according to the proposed plan.

To help students have more motivation to study, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Oai district in collaboration with local agencies and units has just organized the topic "Inspiring learning - Lighting up dreams for children" at Tam Hung Primary School. Through many interesting questions and games, the topic has aroused in students the belief, determination, and ambition to conquer new heights and achieve success.

Implementing the propaganda plan on “Prevention of harmful effects of tobacco” and “Prevention of non-communicable diseases” in schools, Giang Vo 2 Secondary School, Ba Dinh District, has just organized a meeting with the theme “Green school – no tobacco smoke” with enthusiastic response from many students of all classes. During the meeting, students understood the toxic substances in tobacco and the dangerous diseases caused by them; raising students’ responsibility in joining hands to protect a clean, smoke-free school environment.

At My Dinh 2 Primary School, Nam Tu Liem District, more than 1,700 students and teachers participated in a drawing contest on Environmental Protection in Schools - theme "Green School".

The contest not only raises awareness among students in environmental protection and climate change adaptation, but is also an opportunity for them to express and share their thoughts, stories, and environmental issues that they care about; thereby spreading good actions and good stories to join hands in protecting the environment, especially the school environment.

In order to propagate and educate school officials, teachers and students to be aware of the provisions of the law on security and order (SOC), fire prevention and fighting (FFP), traffic safety (TS)..., Ha Dong High School and Mo Lao Ward Police have agreed to sign a program to propagate and disseminate legal education in schools for the 2024-2025 school year. The program signed between the two sides includes 10 topics, including: disseminating legal education; building a mass movement to protect national security; protecting internal politics, protecting state secrets...

For the signing program to be successful, in addition to close coordination between the ward police force and the school board, the participation of parents is also needed.

Along with Ha Dong High School, schools in Ba Dinh district also signed cooperation agreements with police units on: preventing and combating social evils; preventing and combating epidemics; school traffic safety...

In addition to the above activities, many units and schools in Hanoi also actively organize life skills education activities, law propaganda, flag salute activities... to practice skills, motivate students; help them have more energy and positive spirit; and determination to excel in their studies.
