Hoang Su Phi terraced fields are located in 24 communes, of which terraced fields in 11 communes are ranked as National Monuments, including: Ban Phung, Ban Luoc, San Sa Ho, Ho Thau, Nam Ty, Thong Nguyen, Ta Su Choong, Ban Nhung, Po Lo, Thang Tin and Nam Khoa. In particular, Ban Phung is considered to have the most beautiful terraced fields. In 2012, Hoang Su Phi terraced fields were officially recognized as a National Monument by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
