The document clearly states that, in order to strengthen the management of contract vehicles transporting students and better serve the transportation needs of picking up and dropping off students in the province in the 2024-2025 school year, ensuring order and traffic safety, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province directs as follows:

The Department of Education and Training and the People's Committees of districts and cities direct schools to only sign contracts for transporting and picking up students with passenger transport businesses that have been granted a Transport Business License and Badge according to regulations.

Regularly coordinate with parents and students in managing and supervising contract vehicles transporting students to ensure conditions according to regulations.

Absolutely do not sign or terminate transportation contracts with vehicles or drivers who do not meet the requirements. Absolutely do not use cars that carry more people than allowed, vehicles that have expired, vehicles with expired technical safety and environmental protection inspection certificates, etc.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Police to direct the Traffic Police, Public Order Police... to patrol, control, and strictly handle violations of contracted vehicles transporting students that do not ensure safety conditions, do not have badges, and do not have transportation contracts or lists of students picked up and dropped off according to regulations.
