Exciting Football Tournament to celebrate 78 years of VOV establishment

This morning (August 25), the opening ceremony of the 2023 VOV Football Tournament took place in Hanoi on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Voice of Vietnam (September 7, 1945 - September 7, 2023). The 2023 VOV Football Tournament has 6 participating teams. They are VTC Digital Television Station; VOV & Emico Electronic Newspaper Joint Team; Program Production and Archive Center Joint Team, VOV2, TNVN Newspaper and International Cooperation Department; VOVTV Joint Team & Science and Technology Department; VRK134 Joint Team (Station Office, Engineering, R&D, VOV1, VOV3, VOV4) and Radio and Television College 1.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy General Director of VOV Vu Hai Quang said: “This is a tournament to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Voice of Vietnam (September 7, 1945 - September 7, 2023) and is also an annual activity of the Station, an opportunity for cadres, employees, workers, union members and youth in VOV to exercise and enhance solidarity and cohesion.

At the ceremony, the Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam also wished the players good football and victory together.

The 2023 VOV Football Tournament took place on August 25 at the Thuy Loi University football field, Hanoi.

VTC Digital Television won the 2023 VOV Football Championship.

At the end of the tournament, VTC Digital Television Station won the championship, the VRK134 Joint Force (Station Office, Engineering, R&D, VOV1, VOV3, VOV4) came in second, the VOVTV Joint Force & the Science and Technology Department won third place; the Joint Force of the Program Production and Archive Center, VOV2, TNVN Newspaper and the International Cooperation Department won fourth place and the VOV & Emico Electronic Newspaper Joint Force won the Style award.
