April 17, The 37th national cycling race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup - "Non Song Lien Mot Dai" HTV - Ton Dong A 2025 has entered stage 13, with a 166 km journey from Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh) to Pleiku ( Gia Lai ).

As expected, the rugged terrain of the Central Highlands became the "arena" for racers with excellent climbing skills. After competing at the sprint points along the road, the real competition began at the two passes of An Khe and Mang Yang.

Racer Le Ngoc Son (Loc Troi An Giang Group) - the owner of the Orange Jersey after 12 stages - unexpectedly fell behind after the "battle" at Mang Yang Pass. Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoang Sang (Le Fruit Maxxis Dong Nai) and his teammate Ethan Batt seized the opportunity, proactively pulling the leading group to speed up to increase the gap.

The smooth coordination of the Le Fruit Maxxis Dong Nai team, combined with the strong physical strength of the foreign players, made the efforts of Le Ngoc Son and Tran Le Minh Tuan to catch up powerless. The gap between the two groups at times reached nearly 10 minutes, almost "nailing" the situation of the race.

In the last 2 km, Nguyen Hoang Sang not only maintained his position but also launched a direct attack, affirming his ambition to win the Orange Jersey title. Ethan Batt's excellent sprint at the Pleiku finish line completed a golden day for the team from Dong Nai: Winning the stage, taking the lead of his teammates, and especially winning the Orange Jersey for the best Vietnamese racer from Le Ngoc Son.

In other titles, Russian foreign player Savva Novikov (Binh Minh Binh Duong Plastic) showed great determination when conquering both mountain passes in the stage, narrowing the gap to 1 point with Mikhail Fokin (Loc Troi An Giang Group) in the race for the red polka dot jersey.

Mikhail Fokin continued to successfully defend the yellow jersey and the red polka dot jersey, but it was clear that the pressure from the chasing pack was increasing.

Pham Le Xuan Loc (Military Zone 7) remains firmly in the White Jersey after 13 stages, while Nick Kergozou (620 Vinh Long Agriculture) maintains his ownership of the Green Jersey for the best sprinter.

At the award ceremony of stage 13, the Organizing Committee and sponsors continued to spread the message of sharing: Mr. Nguyen The Hoai (Ton The Dan Company Limited) awarded a scholarship worth 20 million VND to students in difficult circumstances; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quynh - Member of the Board of Directors of Ton Dong A Joint Stock Company awarded the prestigious yellow jersey to Mikhail Fokin.
