Promoting activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025

The aim of the series of activities is to arouse the love of books, encourage reading habits in all ages, contribute to building a rich spiritual life and promote the nation's tradition of studiousness. With that spirit, the activities are designed to be diverse and attractive, ensuring that they are suitable for the actual conditions of each locality and attract a large number of people to participate.

Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 in the province takes place from April 1 to May 1, 2025, with 3 main messages: "Books are a treasure trove of human knowledge", "Books are companions in life" and "Reading culture - Connecting the community".

The highlight of the plan is the launching ceremony of activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day at the provincial level, scheduled to be held at Thanh Hoa High School, Bu Dop District on April 21, 2025. The program includes many meaningful activities such as: displaying and introducing books, organizing a mobile library, launching the 7th Provincial Reading Culture Ambassador contest, donating books and reading equipment to schools and a thematic talk on reading methods and knowledge acquisition skills.

In addition, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in the province is also widely organized in the library system, schools and armed forces throughout the province. Libraries will increase activities to serve readers, schools will organize reading festivals, storytelling competitions, book donations and extracurricular activities related to books. The armed forces will also organize activities to encourage officers and soldiers to read books.

Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism recommends   Agencies, departments, branches, organizations, localities and related units closely coordinate and effectively implement the contents of the plan.
