April 19th, groundbreaking ceremony of 2 component projects of Gia Nghia

Component Project 3 is the investment in the construction of a service road and an overpass through Binh Phuoc province and Component Project 5 is the compensation, support and resettlement of the section through Binh Phuoc province, part of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project, Western section, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc). This is one of the key national projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies, units and localities to prepare the necessary technical conditions to organize the groundbreaking ceremony together with the joint groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of projects nationwide online, connecting the bridges and ensuring that the groundbreaking ceremony is organized solemnly, economically, safely and effectively.

The investment project to build the North-South Expressway in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section, has a total length of about 124.13km, of which the section passing through Binh Phuoc province is about 101.03km; the section passing through Dak Nong province is about 23.1km. The National Assembly has decided on the investment policy for the project, and the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province is the focal agency for implementation.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the above two component projects took place from 8:30 to 11:30 on April 19, at DH507 Street, Hamlet 3, Tien Hung Commune, Dong Xoai City; broadcast live on BPTV 1 channel and digital infrastructure of Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Newspaper (BPTV).
