Students of the Diplomatic Academy were also introduced and given a Manga comic book by the Center - a type of culture loved by children and adults in both Japan and Vietnam, about the special love story between Princess Ngoc Hoa of the Nguyen Dynasty and a Japanese merchant from 400 years ago.

The main theme that the Embassy of Japan chose for the communication promotion of Japanese Culture to the Vietnamese people was "UNDERSTANDING", with the desire to emphasize the cultural similarities and historical connections between the two nations. Around this theme, the Embassy of Japan also posed quiz questions and shared feelings about the Vietnam - Japan relationship with the diplomatic students.
