The Hanoi City Labor Federation has just issued a Plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. Accordingly, on this occasion, the City Labor Federation will allocate financial resources from the Labor Federation to support bus tickets in cash for 5,000 workers to return to their hometowns.

Specifically, support 2,000 workers to return to Nghe An and Ha Tinh with 500,000 VND/person; support 200 workers to return to Thanh Hoa with 300,000 VND/person; support 1,000 workers to go to some northern provinces (Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Lang Son) with 300,000 VND/person.

Also in this plan, the City Labor Federation said that during the Lunar New Year 2025, it will organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", focusing on the grassroots and upper-grassroots levels in accordance with the actual situation, ensuring safety, savings, efficiency, attracting many union members and workers to participate.

For grassroots trade unions, focus on organizing the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Gratitude to the Party" in enterprises with a large number of union members and employees, enterprises that can arrange resources, enterprises facing difficulties in production and business...

For trade unions at the grassroots level, focus on organizing in industrial parks and industrial clusters in districts, towns and cities with a large number of union members and workers, and favorable conditions for union members and workers to participate.

On this occasion, there will be activities to visit, give gifts, and wish a happy new year to union members and employees, especially those who are still in difficulty, have low income, suffer from serious illnesses, occupational diseases, have work accidents, are underemployed, have lost their jobs, and are owed wages and bonuses.

At the same time, one of the indispensable activities is the program "Union Tet Market 2025" organized in person and online.

The City Labor Federation requests that the direct superior trade union and the grassroots trade union base on conditions, capabilities, and balance financial resources to organize the "2025 Trade Union Tet Market" program appropriately at their level.

Trade unions at all levels proactively participate with competent authorities to grasp the situation, inspect and supervise employers in paying salaries and bonuses to employees during Tet; promptly detect and have solutions to ensure the rights of employees in enterprises facing difficulties, unpaid salaries, unable to pay bonuses, business owners absconding or dissolving or going bankrupt.

At the same time, strengthen dialogue and negotiation activities with employers on production plans, salary payment, and Tet bonus payment; take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and employees during Tet. Implement measures to detect and prevent labor disputes and collective work stoppages arising during Tet and participate in timely and effective handling, contributing to ensuring security and order in localities and enterprises.

With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", the theme of this year's Tet care activities for workers is "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party".

Hanoi Trade Union aims to organize activities to care for and practically support the material and spiritual life of union members and employees; ensuring that all union members and employees have a joyful, warm and happy Tet.
