Accordingly, the Center of Excellence is expected to become a new driving force for the development of green human resources and improving skills for the young workforce, especially focusing on the fields of electrical installation, industrial automation and renewable energy, towards the goal of promoting sustainable development in Vietnam.
Schneider Electric representative inaugurated the first excellent training room at Ly Tu Trong College

Training high-quality human resources is considered a key factor, in addition to increasing the proportion of renewable energy and reducing fossil power in the context of Vietnam's strong digital transformation with a commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2050. Accordingly, the establishment of a CoE will play an important role in providing in-depth training solutions for students and lecturers, supporting the transition to a green economy.
Inside a Center of Excellence training room equipped with modern equipment
Located at Ly Tu Trong College (390 Hoang Van Thu, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City), the CoE is equipped with advanced equipment and modern learning spaces, simulating energy management and smart automation processes. The center focuses on training through practice to develop students' expertise. At the same time, it also strives to create conditions for each student to apply knowledge in the fields of smart manufacturing and renewable energy, contributing to promoting the country's industrialization process.
The training courses at CoE will focus on: Green Electricians and Industry 4.0, aiming to equip practical knowledge about renewable energy; Teacher training program, aiming to improve the capacity of teachers and technicians, helping them update and adjust appropriate teaching methods.
CoE is an important step by Schneider Electric to connect technology with sustainability through education and training. As an "Impact Maker", Schneider Electric is committed to opening up development opportunities for students and lecturers at 20 vocational colleges nationwide with the goal of training 45,000 students and 200 lecturers in electricity, automation and renewable energy by 2030.
