(NLDO) – Local authorities and family are actively searching for a young woman in Bac Lieu who mysteriously "disappeared" after 6 days.

On February 9, Mr. Tran Van Quan (36 years old; residing in Ninh Quoi A commune, Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province) said that he had reported to the authorities to ask for help in finding his niece TTT (17 years old, 8th grade student) who had been "missing" for many days.

According to Mr. Quan, on February 3 (the 6th day of Tet), Mr. Quan's family called T. (Mr. Quan's nephew) to wake up to go to school but did not see T. in the bedroom, and phone calls could not reach him.

When Mr. Quan went to school and asked T.'s homeroom teacher and classmates, he received information that no one had seen T. return to class after Tet.

According to Mr. Quan, after the incident, the family and school asked some of T.'s friends and learned that T. said he would go to work after Tet.

T.'s situation is very difficult. His father passed away 5 years ago and his mother works far away, so for a while T. dropped out of school to stay home and help the family. He then went back to school. T. currently lives with his grandparents and Mr. Quan and his wife.
