Prolonged heavy rain caused a large amount of rock and soil to fall onto Highway 8A, cutting off the road to Cau Treo International Border Gate (Ha Tinh).
Mr. Kieu Vinh Phuong - Executive Director of Project Management Board 4 (Vietnam Road Administration) - investor of the project "Investment in construction of the renovation and upgrading of National Highway 8A" said: From 10:00 p.m. on September 26 until now, National Highway 8A (section km82+800) has suffered serious landslides due to heavy rain.
