On March 2, the Office of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province said that the province had just had a working session with Vietnam Railways Corporation on operating the tourist train connecting Hue - Da Nang.

At the meeting, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh - Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee - said that the province has directed the Provincial Development Research Institute to conduct a survey of over 400 tourists and residents in Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang to listen to their wishes when traveling or experiencing the Hue - Da Nang railway route.

The province has also worked with 20 tourism, travel and culinary businesses to listen to proposals for implementing tourism services when this train comes into operation.

According to Mr. Minh, to deploy this special tourist train route, it is necessary to create truly special services and destinations, bringing impressive experiences to tourists.

Mr. Dang Sy Manh, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation, said that the deployment of the Hue - Da Nang tourist train is very suitable for groups of guests experiencing with their families, helping tourists to admire the scenery of mountains, beaches, etc.

According to Mr. Manh, the advantage of transporting passengers by rail on this route is that both Hue and Da Nang stations are located in the city center, with a large volume of domestic and foreign passengers needing to travel in both directions, making it convenient for passengers to travel.

"Vietnam Railway Corporation is ready to cooperate with tourism businesses to discuss and develop optimal train operation and business plans to achieve the goals set by all parties," said Mr. Manh.

At the meeting, the parties agreed to try to put the tourist train connecting Hue - Da Nang into operation, expected to be on March 26.
