After 2 seasons of having to rent a stadium, Quang Nam Club will be able to play at home in Tam Ky Stadium when the stadium has just been repaired and upgraded with a total investment of 40 billion VND.
The project to upgrade and renovate Tam Ky stadium and athletes' housing, invested by the Quang Nam Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, was approved on January 5, 2022 with a total investment of 40 billion VND.
The upgraded projects include building a new national team housing complex with a scale of 3 floors and a construction area of approximately 343 square meters.
For the football field, the project upgrades the grass surface and automatic irrigation system, and invests in new underground drainage systems and drainage ditches.
The entire ginger grass surface on Tam Ky field was replaced with Bermuda grass according to international standards.
Tam Ky stadium lighting system has also been renovated, upgraded and added bulbs to ensure standard brightness.
The seats in stands A, B, C, D have also been cleaned, replaced and installed with new ones.
The floor and walls of the stands were also cleaned and given a new coat of paint to give them a clean new look, completely different from the shabby look of the past.
The functional rooms at Tam Ky stadium are also completed.
According to the representative of Quang Nam Club, the upgrading and repairing activities of Tam Ky Stadium have basically been completed. At the same time, the representative of VPF has come to inspect and evaluate to grant permission for Tam Ky Stadium to organize matches in V.League.
The project also invests in renovating the athletics track with a new 13 mm thick synthetic rubber layer; replacing the damaged synthetic asphalt layer and track surface, marking the competition lines; pouring concrete from the existing surface to the ditch walls.
After 2 seasons of having to rent a stadium, now being able to return home will help the Quang Nam team save a lot of money and effort in traveling. Many spectators hope that by playing at home, the Quang Nam club will complete the set goals.
