Salah disappointed with Liverpool

Salah is still waiting for Liverpool to clarify their stance on the length and terms of any proposed deal, with Europe's top clubs interested in signing him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Salah's current contract does not allow him to negotiate with other clubs, but that will change from January 1, 2025, when the 32-year-old will be able to sign pre-contract agreements with clubs outside England.

Salah has not yet held any talks with other clubs, according to insiders. However, he is losing patience with the slow pace of negotiations, and doubts Liverpool will be able to meet his wage demands.

L'Equipe recently reported that PSG had been linked with Salah, but the Ligue 1 outfit denied any talks were underway. Liverpool also declined to comment on the current situation.

However, Salah believes he is one of the best players in the world and wants any new contract to reflect his class and contributions.

Salah has been in impressive form this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists in 20 appearances in all competitions. Salah recently made a big impact in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Man City, assisting Cody Gakpo to open the scoring and then converting the penalty.

This result helps Liverpool firmly hold the top spot in the Premier League with 9 points more than the second-placed team Arsenal and 11 points more than Man City. Salah is still hungry to win the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool this season.

Salah's current contract, signed in 2022, makes him Liverpool's highest-paid player, with a base figure of around £350,000 a week, excluding performance-related bonuses.

Liverpool rejected a £150 million offer from Al Ittihad in the summer of 2023. Salah is still confident that he is reaching the peak of his career and does not see age as a barrier to his ambition to win the Ballon d'Or in the future.
