The World Culinary Awards honor and reward excellence in the culinary industry through the annual World Culinary Awards program. The 5th World Culinary Awards 2024 and the gala dinner were solemnly held at Summersalt, Dubai, United Arab Emirates on the evening of October 2, 2024. Attending the event were units and typical faces in the culinary industry around the world who were honored for different categories of the World Culinary Awards 2024. Saigontourist Group is the only representative of Vietnam to be honored to receive the prestigious awards of the World Culinary Awards 2024. Surpassing more than 40 culinary events from more than 40 countries from 5 continents in the list of nominations for the year's award, "Saigontourist Group's Culinary Culture and Delicacies Festival" organized annually by Saigontourist Group, was honored to be voted by the World Culinary Awards and awarded the "Most Outstanding Culinary Festival in Asia" award in 2022, 2023, 2024 and the "Most Outstanding Culinary Festival in the World" award in 2023, 2024. Thus, "Saigontourist Group's Culinary Culture and Delicacies Festival" has won the "Most Outstanding Culinary Festival in Asia" award for three consecutive years and for the second consecutive time has won the "Most Outstanding Culinary Festival in the World" award.

Taking place from March 28-31, 2024 at Van Thanh Tourist Area, Ho Chi Minh City, "Saigontourist Group 2024 Food and Culture Festival" attracted more than 60,000 visitors to directly participate, explore and enjoy more than 400 unique dishes, authentic flavors of three regions of Vietnam. Not only making domestic and international diners captivated by the "feast" of taste, the festival also spreads traditional Vietnamese cultural values through activities of experiencing craft villages with more than 50 types of Vietnamese folk cakes, many folk games and traditional Vietnamese art forms.
Participating and responding to the festival are a large number of Ho Chi Minh City residents, domestic and international tourists and overseas Vietnamese from all over the world, with the number of visitors in 2024 being 1.5 times higher than the festival held in 2023, and at many times overloaded compared to the outdoor space of Van Thanh Tourist Area. There have been more than 400 reports and news articles continuously updated from central media agencies to newspapers and radio stations in Ho Chi Minh City and provinces reporting on the festival, along with more than 150,000 updates on social networks with many different titles and approaches to content, partly showing the heat, attractiveness and uniqueness only available at the Saigontourist Group Food and Culture Festival 2024.
The festival witnessed many shades of sentiment, enthusiasm, and sublimation of emotions of diners when participating in the exhibition, discovering more than 400 delicious and unique dishes of the three regions of North, Central, and South, when immersing themselves in the traditional cultural and artistic space, interacting and learning to make 50 types of traditional cakes with artisans, and reliving childhood memories with folk games that seemed to have been lost over time. The quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine selected and introduced at the festival has fascinated domestic diners with the opportunity to enjoy a "feast" of taste. The multi-level flavors, imbued with the traditional cultural identity of Vietnam, have also spread widely to international visitors from all 5 continents.
One of the new features of the 2024 festival is the contest "Top 10 must-try dishes at the Saigontourist Group Food and Culture Festival 2024". Accordingly, "Top 10 must-try dishes at the Saigontourist Group Food and Culture Festival 2024" include: Grilled pork with mac mat leaves (Saigon - Ba Be and Saigon - Ban Gioc resorts), tuna eyes stewed with Chinese herbs (Saigon - Phu Yen hotel), Hoi An cao lau (Saigontourane hotel), grilled eel sausage from Nghe An (Saigon - Kim Lien hotel), Royal salted rice (Saigon - Morin hotel), Dalat artichoke chicken pho (Saigon - Da Lat hotel), herbal pork vermicelli (Rex Saigon hotel), Majestic perch vermicelli (Majestic Saigon hotel), herring salad (Saigon - Phu Quoc resort) and ostrich tendon stewed with ginseng (Van Thanh tourist area).
Mr. Pham Huy Binh said that after the success of the three Saigontourist Group Food Culture and Delicacies Festivals in 2022, 2023 and 2024, it is expected that in the near future, the organizing committee will bring the Saigontourist Group Food Culture and Delicacies Festival to the international market, serving overseas Vietnamese, and at the same time contributing to promoting tourism and culinary culture of Ho Chi Minh City as well as tourism and culinary culture of Vietnam.
Saigontourist Group currently manages over 100 hotels, resorts, restaurants, travel agencies, entertainment areas, exhibition centers, conferences, tourism training schools, cable television, etc., and has extensive experience in organizing large-scale international culinary cultural events, which have been successfully implemented in countries around the world.
