China Although she is 78 years old, Bai Jinqi still has a youthful body and a toned figure thanks to her exercise habits from 18 years ago.
Bai has made a name for herself with inspirational videos of her working out at the gym with her silver hair. She performs full sets of 30 minutes or an hour, not skipping difficult moves like resistance and weightlifting.
Bai shared that when she was young, she was too busy with her daily work, often staying up late, so she had no time to exercise. Her health was affected as a result, she suffered from a number of illnesses, including cancer.
After surviving three surgeries, Bai understood the value of life and re-evaluated her lifestyle. So, at the age of 60, she actively exercised and became a regular member of the gym.
“At first, my fitness was very poor and I didn't know much about training. But I strongly believed that the most important thing was to keep trying,” Bai said.
Because of her age, she understood that high-intensity exercise was not suitable and had many potential risks. She started with gentle activities such as brisk walking, jumping rope, and basic therapeutic exercises that were friendly to her knees and muscles.
Over time, she realized that her body was getting stronger enough to move to the next level. Bai now regularly challenges herself with yoga, Pilates, rope breaking, and core training.

Her fitness story has attracted millions of followers on social media.
"It's remarkable that someone of her age can stick to a workout routine for almost two decades. Many young people can't do the same," one follower wrote. "This is so inspiring, I will definitely learn from her," another said.
Stories of active seniors continue to inspire China’s younger generation, becoming a trend on social media. In June, a 60-year-old woman from eastern China became the envy of many with her toned body and youthful appearance, all thanks to 22 years of fitness training.
In September, a 73-year-old man shared his way of eating healthy, exercising regularly, and doing upside down every day, inspiring many young people.
