Village - Neighborhood Cultural Houses are community living spaces for residents, contributing to preserving and promoting the unique cultural and artistic values of each locality. This is also the place to nurture and nurture the core of the "Art Festival of Typical Village - Neighborhood Cultural Houses of Quang Ninh Province". Held every 3 years, this year's Festival has 13 teams representing 13 districts, towns and cities.
Ms. Lai Thi Hoa (Binh Lieu district) and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong (Quang Yen town) shared: "Binh Lieu team participated in unique performances of the district such as Then singing of the Tay people, Pa Dung singing of the Dao people; Soong co of the San Chi people. The skits talk about eliminating superstition, backward and conservative customs. Normally, we also perform these performances in community activities. We don't have to practice for a long time. Quang Yen team has 50 people. Everyone is excited and just wants to perform."
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh province, emphasized that this is a broad cultural activity for Party committees, authorities and all people to continue to enhance the position, role and importance of culture in life, encourage and motivate people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province to compete to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels: "Through the festival, each cadre and cultural worker will exchange and learn in the management and organization of local activities, especially through these events to discover young talents in the grassroots cultural movement, to train and aim to become artists and singers in the mining area and the country".
Immediately after the opening ceremony, there were performances by teams from Ha Long city, Quang Yen town and Binh Lieu mountainous district. The program took place over two days, August 27 and 28.
