Reviewing preparations for the 2025 New Year's Eve program

This afternoon, December 23, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH,TT&DL) worked with relevant departments, agencies, sectors and units to review preparations for the organization of the New Year 2025 program (Countdown Camel Quang Tri 2025).

The New Year 2025 program will be held on the evening of December 31, 2024 at the square of the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center with the theme "Tet of Courage"; including the ceremony with the theme "Opening the lid of courage" and the festival with the theme "Unlimited courage".

The program is organized by Camel Vietnam Trading Joint Stock Company; the implementing unit is Hoang Phuc Media Services Joint Stock Company. The program aims to create a joyful, exciting, motivating and encouraging atmosphere for cadres, party members and people of all walks of life at the end of 2024 and welcoming the new year 2025. At the same time, it serves the entertainment needs of the people and is an opportunity to attract domestic and foreign tourists, promote the potential and strengths of the economy, culture and tourism of the province.

To carry out assigned tasks according to plan, relevant departments, branches, units and localities have proactively developed their own plans and strategies, while closely and synchronously coordinating to successfully implement the program, ensuring safety, practicality, efficiency and compliance with legal regulations.

Camel Vietnam Trading Joint Stock Company requested to coordinate and support communication and advertising work; the live broadcast time on television will start at 9:00 p.m. instead of 9:30 p.m.; permission to set up a booth to display and introduce products within the program and to set off 60 fireworks.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Minh Tuan discussed and informed more about the issues of concern to the delegates; with other proposals, he will advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve. In order for the 2025 New Year's Eve program to take place successfully, it is recommended that relevant departments, branches, sectors and units base on their assigned tasks to proactively coordinate and implement promptly and effectively.

In addition, the Provincial Police Department is requested to prepare plans to ensure security and order and coordinate with the Department of Transport to organize reasonable traffic flow, promptly notify parking plans; the Provincial Military Command coordinates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize early registration and strictly manage the quantity and types of unmanned aerial vehicles; ensure smooth live TV broadcasting lines, increase mobile broadcasting towers to serve the livestream needs of people and tourists; ensure safety during the fireworks display.

Arrange ambulances and doctors to ensure handling of health incidents during the program. Coordinate environmental sanitation before, during and after the event.
