Launch of TV show 'Alo Doctor'

The program "Alo Doctor" is built as a "medical news" bulletin with a vivid, familiar and easy-to-understand format for the people. The program will continuously, promptly and fully update current medical issues, especially the development of epidemics, effective prevention and treatment measures.

The "Alo Doctor" newsletter will update and convey State policies, activities, achievements, and typical examples of hospitals and medical facilities in caring for and protecting public health, especially in the southern provinces and cities.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Tu Luong - Director of Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City said that with the goal of joining hands to take care of the community's health, through the medical news program "Alo Doctor", VTV9 is committed to working with the health sector and society to convey messages and skills to protect health, contributing to raising awareness of disease prevention of each person and the whole community and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and health care for the people.

The first medical news bulletin was broadcast on July 10, 2023 on VTV9 channel. After 2 months, there were 63 Alo Doctor news bulletins with a total duration of 630 minutes with nearly 1,000 medical information broadcast and updated every day.
