Launching the App "Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen"

At the launch, delegates placed their hands on the LED screen to perform the ceremony to launch this application.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen app is a smart mobile application, a two-way communication channel between the city government and the people through easy and convenient "one-touch" interaction.

Through this app, city residents can report events, send comments and suggestions on issues they are concerned about. At the same time, closely monitor the progress of the authorities.

In addition, people can also access, look up and use public service utilities quickly and conveniently, in many practical areas of life.

On the government side, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen app will be an effective channel to record, manage and handle incidents arising from real life in the area, based on transparently provided data.

From there, the government can also quickly and promptly provide information to the people about the city's activities. At the same time, propagate newly issued policies, regulations and laws. Along with that, post news, announcements, emergency warnings...

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also emphasized that, for the convenience of people to grasp and observe, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen app will display notifications whenever there are results of handling feedback, handling records, or new developments in the handling process and there will be urgent "hot" notifications from the authorities.

To install the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen app, people search and download the app on Google Play (for Android operating system) and App Store (for IOS operating system) with the app name "Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen".

Citizens log in only once through their Vietnamese citizen electronic identification account (VNeID account).

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that in the coming time, the city will continue to listen to feedback and suggestions from departments, branches, sectors and users to update, upgrade and improve the services, features and utilities of the app, ensuring the application operates stably and smoothly, bringing the most benefits to the people.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, in the first phase (from now until December 31, 2024), the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen app will provide 12 main feature groups, displayed in the Digital Citizen section including:

- Feedback and recommendations help people send feedback and recommendations to the 1022 system on issues such as technical infrastructure incidents; economic, socio-cultural, national defense and security issues; suggestions for city development...;

- Education supports people to look up school information, detailed school addresses, classified by preschool, primary, secondary, high school, and continuing education levels;

- Healthcare helps people look up information about medical facilities such as address and operating license;

- Tourism - newsletter helps to look up information related to festivals, events, tourism news related to the city;

- Traffic supports people to look up and search for information related to buses in the city with the utility of monitoring cameras on the routes;

- Build to help people look up housing projects in the city, practice certificates related to real estate and brokerage;

- State agencies support people to look up a list of hotline information and contact directories of government agencies where they live;

- Public services - File lookup helps people access personal file storage, lookup administrative procedures, lookup administrative records and grasp the status of administrative file settlement in various fields; this feature continues to be updated so that people can submit documents online in various fields;

- The map allows people to use the location search, navigation and directions feature or search for locations in the city right on the map;

- General user account can create account, perform personalized actions, store data, personal utility services and general policies of the App;

- VNeID for people to log in through the national electronic identification system (VNeID);

- Interactive announcements - news - public opinion provides announcements, news and warnings from state agencies to people and can collect public opinions through survey forms.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen app also provides users with a number of other features in the My Services section.
