Quang Ninh simultaneously organizes National Great Unity Day in residential areas

On November 10, all residential areas in 13 districts, towns and cities in the province simultaneously organized the National Great Unity Day. This is the third year the festival has been held simultaneously in residential areas in the province, creating an exciting competitive atmosphere, strengthening the strength of the great national unity bloc, and promoting people's autonomy.

This year's National Great Unity Day has the theme "Solidarity Day - Warm military-civilian affection" with 2 parts: ceremony and festival. The ceremony will last no more than 90 minutes with the following contents: Reviewing the history and traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam People's Army; reporting the results of 1 year of implementing movements and campaigns; praising exemplary families and individuals; launching emulation responses to welcome the Party Congress of hamlets (areas, villages) for the term 2025-2027, and Party Congresses at all levels for the term 2025-2030.

The festival includes cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities suitable to the locality, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encouraging and motivating the entire Party, army and people to compete to successfully complete political tasks, develop the socio-economy and protect the Fatherland.

With careful, methodical and thorough preparation, the successful organization of the National Great Unity Day has a particularly important meaning in gathering, consolidating and strengthening the solidarity and consensus of the people in the community and residential areas; further promoting the close relationship between the army and the people, creating a solid foundation for the great national unity bloc; strongly arousing the spirit of excitement and emulation among the people, determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, maintaining the development achievements of the province and locality.

The National Great Unity Day is a practical activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day, the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army's founding day, and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day. At the same time, it contributes to encouraging and mobilizing people to actively respond to and participate in the successful organization of the election of village, hamlet, and neighborhood chiefs for the 2025-2027 term; and compete to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
