Quang Ngai supports 100% of compensation costs for social housing projects

Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council voted to pass a resolution to support 100% of compensation, support and resettlement costs for social housing projects.

On March 19, at the 32nd session of the 13th Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council, delegates of the Provincial People's Council voted to pass a resolution to support funding for investors to implement social housing projects in the area.

Delegates of the People's Council of Quang Ngai province unanimously voted to pass a resolution to support investors in implementing social housing projects in the province.

Specifically, Quang Ngai province will support 100% of the compensation, support and resettlement costs for site clearance. At the same time, support 70% of the investment costs for building technical infrastructure systems within the scope of the social housing construction project according to the detailed planning approved by competent authorities.

The subjects of application are investors of social housing construction investment projects invested by non-budgetary capital sources and trade union financial sources in Quang Ngai province; other State agencies, organizations and individuals related to social housing construction investment activities in Quang Ngai province.

In principle, support for funding to support the construction of technical infrastructure systems will be considered after the construction investment has been implemented, the completion has been accepted, and the implementation value has been inspected and confirmed by a competent State agency.

State support shall not be included in the selling price, rental price, or lease-purchase price of social housing.

Secretary of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van gave a speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van emphasized: The Resolution regulating the support mechanism for implementing social housing investment projects was issued and officially took effect on March 29, which will contribute to helping Quang Ngai effectively implement the tasks and targets of investing in the construction of 6,300 social housing apartments assigned by the Prime Minister.
