Phu Tho invests nearly 20 billion VND to protect intellectual property for the province's typical products.

From 2020 to present, with State budget and socialized capital, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee has approved and invested 19.54 billion VND to implement the intellectual property development program, building brands to protect intellectual property for 26 key, typical and advantageous products of the province in the form of geographical indications, certification trademarks, and collective trademarks.

Yen Lap Cinnamon – 1 of 12 products with collective brand

Up to now, there are 2 geographical indications being built: Tan Son spur chicken, Gia Thanh seedless red.

There are 12 certified brands including Phu Tho Tea, Tan Son Corn Wine, Phong Chau Cassava Cake, Thanh Son Goat, Hung Long Early Ripening Lychee, Green Crayfish, Lam Thao Green Onions, Trung Son Skinny Bamboo Shoots, Yen Lap Local Pig, Hien Quan Kapok Mistletoe, Thanh Son Black Crow Sticky Rice, Phu Tho Banana.

12 collective brands include: Thanh Ba hill chicken, fine art wooden products of Van Du carpentry village, Yen Lap cinnamon, Lang Bo soy sauce, Huong Non safe vegetables, Van Lang green pumpkin, Ha Thach vermicelli and cake, Hen iced tea, Vegetable noodles, Lam Thao green food tubers, Do Xuyen safe vegetables, Muong Kit citrus, Tu Vu honey.

After protection, products have increased their value, competitiveness and affirmed their product brands, creating sustainable values, meeting the requirements of the market economy.
