Hong Hac - Xuan Lam ecological urban area was approved for investment by Bac Ninh province in December 2010.
According to the plan, Hong Hac - Xuan Lam ecological urban area has an area of 198.5 hectares located in Ngu Thai, Song Lieu communes and Xuan Lam ward of Thuan Thanh town.

Of which, 72.1 hectares (36.3%) are planned for building townhouses and villas, the remaining land area is arranged for utilities, landscapes, and internal roads.
The area of trees and water surface is 44.96 ha (accounting for 22.65% of the total area). The area for utilities for the urban area is 30.37 ha (15.3% of the total area). The area of urban traffic roads is 51.1 ha (25.75% of the total area) - with a total length of all roads of more than 33km.
According to the detailed planning adjustment project, the population size of the project is nearly 28,000 people. The project is designed and built with a model of shophouses, townhouses, single and double villas.
Hong Hac - Xuan Lam urban area is introduced by the investor as an ecological urban area according to international standards, harmoniously combining landscape with people, architecture in harmony with nature and people so that residents here have the best life.
The landscape is of great concern because this is an ecological project, so the density of trees, walking gardens, and lakes (up to 15 hectares) with a large area is designed with soft curves throughout the urban area, creating landscape highlights and a fresh, airy space.
The project has completed site clearance compensation and handed over nearly 198 hectares. The infrastructure of the project is expected to be completed in November 2024.
Previously, on the afternoon of September 22, within the framework of the Conference to announce the Planning and Investment Promotion of Bac Ninh province in 2024 with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, he had a meeting with leaders of a number of enterprises planning to make large investments in Bac Ninh, including Mr. Gary Tseng - General Director of Phu My Hung Development Corporation.
Mr. Gary Tseng said Phu My Hung has invested in Vietnam for 30 years, starting in Ho Chi Minh City and in recent years the company has begun investing in other provinces.
At the meeting, the company also made a number of recommendations and hoped that the Vietnamese Government, ministries and branches would remove difficulties and create favorable conditions for businesses to continue expanding their investment in Vietnam. Phu My Hung also expressed its desire to participate in the Vietnamese stock market to mobilize more resources for investment.
Phu My Hung was established on May 19, 1993, as a joint venture between Tan Thuan Industrial Development Company Limited (IPC) and Phu My Hung Asia Holdings (headquartered in Cayman Island, formerly known as CT&D Group). The enterprise was granted an investment license for the Phu My Hung project - the first urban area with foreign investment capital in Vietnam.
In addition to Bac Ninh, Phu My Hung has also recently researched investment and project development in Hoa Binh and Thai Nguyen.
