On February 14, Mr. Khong Van Thang, Acting Director of the Department of Statistics of Bac Ninh province, said that the budget revenue of Bac Ninh province in January reached more than 7,200 billion VND.

According to Mr. Thang, this is the highest budget revenue in January ever in Bac Ninh province. The budget revenue in January alone is equal to nearly 22% compared to 2024, reaching a total budget revenue of more than 33,000 billion VND.

"In January, Bac Ninh province's budget revenue was high from corporate income tax and personal income tax, because this is the time to finalize personal income tax and business license tax. Bac Ninh has many foreign and domestic enterprises investing in production, and many domestic and foreign experts coming to work with high incomes," Mr. Thang shared.

According to the Bac Ninh Provincial Statistics Office, in the total budget revenue in January reaching over 7,200 billion VND, domestic revenue is estimated at over 6,500 billion VND, up 218.8% compared to the previous month, up 17.7% compared to the same period last year; revenue from customs is estimated at 720 billion VND, up 7.5% compared to the previous month, up 4.9% compared to the same period last year.

According to Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan, Bac Ninh province's growth target for the whole year of 2025 is from 8% or more, striving to reach double digits.

In the first quarter, Bac Ninh province focused on streamlining and reorganizing the apparatus and implementing solutions to collect budget revenue, including increasing revenue from land use fees, preventing tax losses, and exploiting revenue sources from production and business.

In January, Bac Ninh province had 256 newly established enterprises with a total registered capital of nearly 10,400 billion VND, an increase of nearly 4 times compared to the same period in 2024. The average registered capital of a newly established enterprise reached more than 40 billion VND. The rate of online business registration applications reached 100%, ranking first in the country. In addition, the whole province of Bac Ninh had 209 enterprises resuming operations.

Bac Ninh led the country in attracting FDI in January, with registered capital reaching nearly 1.4 billion USD, accounting for 32.2% of total registered FDI capital nationwide, a 6-fold increase in registered capital compared to the same period last year.
