Speaking with Dan Tri reporter on the afternoon of January 20, Luu Thien Huong's media representative confirmed that the female musician had submitted a resignation letter from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music in both the roles of lecturer and expert.
Luu Thien Huong's side said that her spirit and health are being affected after the recent scandals. The female musician's decision to quit her job comes from her desire to rest and stabilize her mind after the controversies.
Luu Thien Huong's resignation letter has been sent and is awaiting a response from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. The female musician also said that she does not want to mention any more issues related to herself and the MH lecturer.
Regarding this issue, Dan Tri reporter contacted Acting Director of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music Hoang Ngoc Long, but has not received a response.
It is known that before the incident happened, Luu Thien Huong was a guest lecturer at the Jazz-Pop-Rock and Music Technology department of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.
In recent days, the incident in which musician Luu Thien Huong "accused" an MH lecturer of throwing a phone at her because of professional disagreements has caused a stir in public opinion.
After the incident, on January 16, musician Luu Thien Huong and MH lecturer had a meeting with the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music about the above issue.
According to information from the school, at the meeting, musician Luu Thien Huong and lecturer MH both realized their mistakes and apologized to the Conservatory of Music for letting the incident affect the image of the lecturer as well as the reputation of the school.
Acting Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, Hoang Ngoc Long, criticized the two lecturers in the recent incident. The actions of both affected the image and reputation of the school in particular and the educational environment in general. The school requested the two lecturers to seriously review themselves and not let similar situations happen again.
Immediately after the meeting, musician Luu Thien Huong also removed the post related to her colleague on her personal page.
