Speaking with VietNamNet on the morning of January 19, musician Luu Thien Huong said that, personally, after the noisy incident happened, her spirit and health were affected.
She said she had officially submitted her resignation letter to the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music (both as a lecturer and as a specialist) to rest and regain her composure before starting a new job. Her resignation letter has been sent and she is waiting for a response from the school.
Musician Luu Thien Huong said she did not want to mention any more about the personal issue between herself and Meritorious Artist Minh Huyen. She is waiting for the final results from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, as well as the authorities, and respects all decisions.
Sharing with VietNamNet , Acting Director of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, Dr., Meritorious Artist Hoang Ngoc Long said he had not yet heard information that lecturer Luu Thien Huong continued to resign.
In the past few days, he believed that the case had been closed so he could not share anything at the moment. He would notify later when the application was received.

In recent days, the incident of Meritorious Artist Minh Huyen throwing a phone at musician Luu Thien Huong due to disagreements in teaching has caused a stir in public opinion.
The Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music coordinated with the Party Committee, the People's Inspectorate, the School Inspectorate, the Dean of the Faculty, and representatives of the Personnel Department to hold an urgent meeting on the afternoon of January 12.
The school determined that lecturer Minh Huyen's behavior was wrong and violated the standards of a teacher. Meritorious Artist Minh Huyen herself also admitted her mistake. Based on the Code of Conduct in schools, the school agreed on the form of handling the level of reprimand.
On the morning of January 16, Meritorious Artist Minh Huyen and musician Luu Thien Huong had a meeting with the board of directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. Regarding the content of the meeting, Acting Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, Dr. Meritorious Artist Hoang Ngoc Long said that musician Luu Thien Huong and lecturer Minh Huyen both admitted their mistakes and apologized for affecting the reputation of the school and the image of the lecturer.
Mr. Long criticized the two lecturers for letting the incident that caused a stir in public opinion in recent days happen, asking them to seriously review and not let similar situations happen again.
Sharing with VietNamNet on January 16, musician Luu Thien Huong said: " According to the school's request, I will continue to teach at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. The board of directors said that I am in charge of the largest number of students in the faculty, so I feel guilty about this incident and quitting teaching would be a sin for the students."
Meritorious Artist Minh Huyen said she did not apologize to Luu Thien Huong as she said in the press. Whether her actions were right or wrong will be decided by the law and she refused to share more.
