Specifically, there are 70 areas that do not auction the right to exploit stone for common construction materials and land for filling, with a total area of nearly 402 hectares in the districts of Krong Ana, Ea Sup, Lak, M'Drak, Krong Pac, Ea Kar, Ea H'leo, Buon Don, Krong Bong, Cu Kuin, Cu M'Gar and Buon Ma Thuot City; there are 5 areas that do not auction the right to exploit sand for common construction materials on the sections of the Ea H'leo, Krong Bong, Krong Pac and Krong Nang rivers, with a total length of 30.5km.

These areas are planned to be exploited to provide raw materials for construction projects using the state budget (development of transport infrastructure, irrigation and hydroelectric works), disaster recovery projects, transport infrastructure projects, and welfare projects under the new rural construction program.
In the province, there are 83 mineral exploitation areas licensed for mineral exploration and exploitation in areas where mineral exploitation rights are not auctioned according to the criteria prescribed by the Government.
