Promoting the strengths of ethnic groups in the Front's personnel structure

Today, March 22, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City (VFFC) Nguyen Lan Huong chaired a working session between the Standing Committee of the VFFC of the City and Ba Vi district on preparations for the organization of the VFF Congress at all levels for the 2024-2029 term.

According to the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Vi district, the organization of the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels in the district has received close and timely attention and guidance from Working Group No. 3 to direct the Congress under the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has paid attention to timely leadership and direction, promptly issued circulars to direct grassroots Party committees to lead and direct from the Front Work Committee to communes and towns; assigned the Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to directly direct the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels in the area.

The Standing Committee of the District Fatherland Front Committee also proactively advised and reported to the Party Committee to issue plans and documents guiding the implementation; established 4 sub-committees to serve the Congress, 2 Steering Groups for the grassroots Congress; clearly assigned tasks and timelines; directed the successful organization of the model Congress to gain experience for implementation throughout the district. Regular coordination work, promptly resolved issues arising during the implementation process.

To date, 208/208 Front Work Committees of Ba Vi district have completed the conference to summarize the 2021-2024 term. By the end of March 21, 15/31 communes and towns had completed the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune level; the remaining 16 communes have had their content, program and schedule approved by the district Fatherland Front, striving to complete before April 10, 2024.

It is expected that the Ba Vi District Fatherland Front Congress will take place in 2 days, June 10-11, 2024, with the participation of 192 delegates and 158 guests. The number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, term XIV, includes 69 members (1 member higher than the previous term), of which: The re-election rate is about 60% compared to the beginning of the term, the rate of non-Party members is expected to be about 27%.

The Standing Committee of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in coordination with the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, also discussed and agreed on the structure and content of the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th District Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress; and is seeking comments for the 4th time at the Commune and Town Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress.

Concluding the working session, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Lan Huong acknowledged the attention of the Ba Vi District Party Committee and the efforts of the Standing Committee of the District Fatherland Front in implementing the plan to organize the 14th District Fatherland Front Congress, ensuring smooth and synchronous direction in the context of a large area.

From there, the Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested that in the coming time, the district focus on directing and guiding the Commune-level Front Congresses in the spirit of learning from the City's model Commune-level Congresses. At the same time, carefully study Resolution 43 of the 8th Central Conference on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building an increasingly prosperous and happy country. The District Vietnam Fatherland Front also needs to develop a specific propaganda plan before, during and after the Congress, in which exploiting the district's radio system and the Front's fanpage, in order to bring the Congress's spirit closer to the people.

Regarding the preparation of the Congress Documents, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City noted that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Vi District should refer to and carefully study the Resolution of the District Party Congress to integrate it into the assessment of implementation results; concretize it with practical, specific goals, and quantify the solutions.

It is necessary to pay attention to the characteristics of Ba Vi district in building the great national unity bloc and representing ethnic groups in the personnel structure..." - Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized.
