Ms. Vo Anh Tu - Director of VNVC Dong Nai Center said that in recent days, the number of people coming for vaccination has increased dramatically. Although the number of people coming for vaccination every day has increased many times compared to the time before Tet At Ty 2025, the Center still adheres to the procedures for receiving, consulting, and safely implementing vaccination, ensuring vaccine quality and high disease prevention efficiency after vaccination. In addition, the Center also provides customers with free drinking water, examination fees, medical records, and diapers for babies.
Ms. Vo Anh Tu said that VNVC Dong Nai Center ensures all stages of screening, vaccination appointment, vaccination, and on-site post-vaccination monitoring are strictly followed for all customers. At the same time, the consulting team is strengthened to support the handling of post-vaccination reactions to promptly handle customer inquiries, especially those who are vaccinated for the first time and are new to post-vaccination knowledge.
To ensure the vaccination needs are met, especially during peak times, the staff of the VNVC Dong Nai Center starts working from 7am to 6pm every day, working through lunch without a break. In addition, the Center's staff also advises people to come for vaccination at appropriate times to save time.
Ms. Bach Thi Chinh - Medical Director of VNVC vaccination system said that the number of people coming to get vaccinated from nearly 220 VNVC centers nationwide has increased. In particular, at VNVC vaccination centers in the Southeast region such as Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the number of people proactively getting flu vaccine is more than 10 times higher than usual.
Most of the people coming for vaccination are children, the elderly and people with underlying medical conditions. These are groups of people at high risk of disease and complications and need to be given priority protection.
Ms. Bach Thi Chinh commented: "The fact that people are increasing their flu vaccinations shows that people's awareness of vaccination as the optimal method of protection against infectious diseases is increasing and spreading to the community."
