(NADS) - On the morning of February 2, 2024, to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), Co To district, Quang Ninh province organized a talk show on "Promoting cultural values, the strength of Vietnamese people, some issues on the 4th revolution in the current period" delivered by Dr. Le Doan Hop, former Minister of Information and Communications.
Attending were comrades Nguyen Viet Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Co To district; comrade Dang Quang Ngan, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; and comrades in the Standing Committee, Executive Committee of Co To district, key leaders of the district. Dr. Le Doan Hop shared: ...Culture in the Party is morality, humanity, compatriots, comrades, family, brothers, friends, homeland, things that cannot be weighed or measured. It can be said that a person with morality will radiate outward with culture. A person with culture because inside they have morality. Therefore, culture is the quintessence of morality.
The country is now very different from the time of our ancestors. But cultural values have never changed, so the three big issues are family culture, corporate culture and office culture, the other three issues are culture, economy and environment.
The family is the cell of society, the basic economic unit, the basic security unit, the basic cultural unit. All the good things of the homeland and the country originate from the family and vice versa, all the unrest and unhappiness of the nation and the people also originate from the family. In the current situation and stage, the core team of the district needs to pay attention to reading culture. There are 5 ways to read: Read newspapers to get rich - Read magazines to get a job - Read books to become a human being - Read printed newspapers to understand the Party - Read online newspapers to understand the people's hearts. Reading is the best way to reform and glorify yourself, glorify to reform and reform to glorify.
President Ho Chi Minh taught that: “Family is the cell of society. Only when the family is good will society be good”. Uncle Ho attached great importance to the issue of human education, and first of all, education must come from within the family. Therefore, in this National Cultural Conference, it is necessary to discuss in depth about family culture, corporate culture, office culture and public ethics. It must be understood that family culture is the foundation of society; corporate culture is the economic foundation of the country; office culture and public ethics are the national political foundation. When all three pillars of culture are taken care of, the culture of our nation will flourish.
The behavioral culture of civil servants and public employees today is the same as that of officials in the past, the lowest position in the past was the Village Chief. In feudal society, in any dynasty, our ancestors were very interested in the team of officials closest to the people, that is the "Village Chief". Wherever the Village Chief was loved by the people, there the people loved and respected the court and vice versa. I would like to take the example of King Le Thanh Tong (reigning the country from 1460 to 1497), one of the wise emperors, respected by the people in the feudal history of Vietnam.
Le Thanh Tong was the wisest emperor, he carefully selected the grassroots officials, right from the village chief level, to become a village chief one must meet four criteria: "Student education" which means one must have knowledge. "Family wealth" which means one must know how to get rich, because only those who know how to make their family rich will know how to make their relatives, neighbors and the wider society rich. "Gentle virtue", contacting people every day at all times and places must be gentle and polite. "Trustworthy language", whatever the village chief says, people will believe. The things in the book "Reforming the way of working" still have value, and today we are trying to learn Uncle Ho's teachings through implementing the Campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh".
From the way our ancestors governed the country, from Uncle Ho's teachings, the Party has realized and is determined to rectify the team of cadres and civil servants by Regulation 47-QD/TW (dated November 1, 2011) for the entire Party.
The 4.0 industrial revolution and the 5.0 revolution in the future will come, we cannot stand on the sidelines of this revolution. Currently, some young people live unrealistically, live without aspirations, do not know about tomorrow, live passively, even violate the law to the point of falling into the law, many people attribute it to the Internet, social networks, to the development of technology - information, in my opinion these attributions are not convincing because these people are only a few compared to the majority who are and will rely on the technology - information platform, the Internet to study, acquire information, knowledge, learn good things, right things, learn to get rich, share difficulties with compatriots, connect love, cultivate culture, knowledge domestically and internationally. Social networks are the voices of real life that are brought and written to express in each person, filtering the muddy to bring out the clear, the network is a virtual society but is the truth of society.
